Only a couple of days after earning a fat paycheck worth INR 8.25 Crore in the Indian Premier League Auction, where his services were bought by Mumbai Indians, Tim David, the Singapore-born all-rounder, has signed a two-year contract with Hobart Hurricanes of the BBL. He joins Nathan Ellis, Ben McDermott, Joel Paris, D’Arcy Short and Matthew Wade, who are already a part of the Hurricanes squad for the upcoming season.
David was the fourth-highest run-scorer for the club in the recently-concluded edition of the tournament, striking at an impressive 163.91, drawing the attention of franchises in the Pakistan Super League and Indian Premier League.
Up in the sky, look! It’s a bird… It’s a plane… No, it’s our latest signing!💥
Stay tuned as we drop the name this afternoon. 🔥#TasmaniasTeam pic.twitter.com/3NraCkcjY2
