Nepal Wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh refused to run out Ireland's Andy McBrine after the latter was accidentally tripped by the bowler while trying to steal a single. The incident occurred during the ongoing Oman Quadrangular T20 Series where Ireland took on Nepal at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground. Batting first, Ireland were in a spot of bother at 114-8 in the 19th over when non-striker McBrine lost his footing mid-pitch due to a mild collision with the bowler. The ball was relayed to the wicketkeeper Sheikh, who upheld the spirit of cricket by refusing to run out McBrine.
