Steve Smith has been ruled out of the remainder of the T20I series against Sri Lanka with a concussion. As per Cricket Australia, Smith will be subjected to low level concussion protocols for the next few days and he is expected to recover in a week. Smith sustained the injury to his head while trying to save a six in the ultimate over of a thrilling chase. He put in a full-length dive as he tried to stop a tonk from Maheesh Theekshana close to the midwicket boundary rope. However, he landed on his head and copped the concussing blow.
