Australia won the second T20I against Sri Lanka at the Sydney Cricket Ground via Super Over, which saw Josh Hazlewood give away just five to pave the way for glory. The dramatic finish was preceded by Steve Smith’s acrobatic effort at the boundary rope. In the final over bowled by Marcus Stoinis, Maheesh Theekshana whacked it over deep mid-wicket but Smith flung himself full-extension and threw the ball back into play. However, he copped a blow in the process and has been ruled out of the remainder of the T20I series due to a concussion.
