The BCCI have added the triumphant members of the 2022 Under-19 World Cup team to the Mega Auction list of IPL. Cricbuzz has learnt that 10 members of the Yash Dhull-led India side, who failed to make the cut, have been included in the list. The total number of players in the auction register has now gone up to 600. The reason why many of the World Cup-winning India U19 players were ineligible earlier was down to the rules and regulations, which state that only those U19 players who have at least one first-class match or List A game under their belt can enrol in the auction, as per the aforementioned publication.
