Mohammed Siraj may be among the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s triplet of retained players going into the next IPL cycle but not long ago he thought his career was done and dusted in the league. Siraj endured a nightmarish 2019 season, conceding at an economy of 9.55 in nine games through the edition while taking a mere seven wickets. Siraj hit rock bottom in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders, when he leaked five sixes and 36 runs in 2.2 overs of operation before being forced out of the attack as a result of two beamers.
