The Mumbai team for the upcoming Ranji season will be skippered by Prithvi Shaw and Ajikya Rahane, the former India vice-captain, will be part of it as a member, according to Cricbuzz. The Salil Ankola-led selection committee is expected to announce the squad in a couple of days. Rahane, who had been a long-standing deputy to Virat Kohli until recently, has led India in six Tests, including in Australia in 2020 when he marshalled a demoralized Indian side to a historic series win.
