An excellent 80-run partnership between James Sale and James Rew has yanked England out of the hole they found themselves in at 91/7. Rew has been the chief contributor, having struck ten boundaries en route to his 85 off 112 balls. India would be displeased to have allowed an alliance to bloom after having the opposition on the mat. If Rew and Sales can hang on for another dozen overs, England would be in with a shout as they will attain respectable numbers.
