Ricky Ponting and Matthew Hayden, former teammates of Justin Langer, have admonished Cricket Australia for not lending support to the recently-resigned head coach of the Australian men’s team in the wake of criticisms of inculcating a hard-nosed culture. Langer, who had taken charge as the head coach of the men’s team from Darren Lehmann in 2018 following the sandpaper saga, resigned from his position on Saturday morning, five months prior to the end of his tenure.
