India

A 27-run last over fuelled India to an enormous 290 for 5, which didn't look even remotely possible the way India had batted in the first 15 overs. They were 18 for 1 after eight overs and 38 for 2 after 13. But Yash Dhull and then Shaik Rasheed changed the complexion of the game with their 204-run stand for the third wicket, a rock-solid alliance that could well prove to one that propels India into their fourth straight finale. The batting unit has done its job, and it is now up to the bowlers to defend 291.
