Bangladesh chief selector Minhajul Abedin said on Tuesday, February 1, that they will give a shot at persuading Tamim Iqbal to reconsider his decision to take a break from T20Is for the next six months, reported Cricbuzz. A day after announcing his decision to not play in the shorter format, Tamim scored a match-winning unscathed hundred for Minister Dhaka against Sylhet Sunrisers to keep their hopes alive in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League. The swashbuckling southpaw is currently the highest run-scorer in the tournament.
