Former men’s Test opener and current Australia head coach Justin Langer has been inducted into the Australian Hall of Fame, along with Raelee Thompson – the former fast bowler and captain who is well known as a pioneer of the women’s sport in the nation. Australia saw Langer flourish at the top of the order in their Test line-up where he developed an excellent partnership with Matthew Hayden during the golden years of Australian cricket. Langer’s resilient career came to a close with 7696 runs to his name at an average of 45.27.
