India came back well in the dead rubber at Cape Town to keep South Africa to 287. They looked like they'd get 320 at one stage, but regular wickets after the Quinton de Kock-Rassie vd Dussen stand kept the hosts in check. Between 36 and 40 overs, South Africa scored just 16/2 – which in the end made the difference. The changes that India made today paid off. Can the batsmen now chase this down? They must to salvage some pride for the visitors.
