(Video) South Africa fined for slow over rate in Paarl

Hosts South Africa have been penalized with 20 per cent of their match fee for a slow over-rate offence in the second ODI against India in Paarl on Friday, January 21. Match referee Andy Pycroft imposed the sanction after Temba Bavuma’s side was found to be one over short of the target after time allowances were taken into account. Bavuma pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction, discarding the need for a formal hearing, as per Cricbuzz.
