Zimbabwe have managed to post a formidable 308 in the second one-dayer against Sri Lanka. Regis Chakabva and Takudzwanashe Kaitano put up another fifty partnership to open the innings, although Jeffrey Vandersay prised out both openers with the score at 90. A superb 106-run third-wicket stand between Sean Williams and Craig Ervine ensued before a stumping from ended Williams’ time at the crease for a brisk 48. Ervine carried on, sharing another fifty stand with Sikandar Raza and missing his ton by just 9 runs. Raza, however, ensured Zimbabwe crossed the 300 mark in the death overs.
