Fawad Ahmed bagged a three-wicket haul while Ian Cockbain and Matt Renshaw struck half-centuries to star in Adelaide Strikers’ plain-sailing eight-wicket win against Sydney Sixers at the Adelaide Oval on Monday. The Strikers never looked in any sort of trouble as they chased down their target of 162 inside 18 overs for the loss of just two wickets. Earlier, a maiden Big Bash half-century from Justin Avendano spurred life into the Sixers innings after their top order was kept largely mum by the Strikers attack.
