An exaggerated shuffle outside off even before the ball came out of Broad’s hand cost Marnus Labuschagne his wicket as the spikes slipped, giving him little chance to adjust and make contact with the shooter that was heading onto the stumps. Stuart Broad jetted off on a celebratory run after the bizarre dismissal and not surprisingly it is Labuschagne who was at the receiving end of it. Australia have been dwarfed to 83/4 and England can smell blood in Hobart.
One of the weirdest dismissals we’ve ever seen! 😱#Ashes pic.twitter.com/8Qp5rKprn8
