India were absolutely livid with the hawkeye verdict as Dean Elgar was handed a reprieve off the bowling of R Ashwin. The slider pinged the opener stone dead in front of the sticks but the review miraculously saved him, with technology showing the ball was missing the leg stump. Virat Kohli and his troops found themselves in a state of shock, and so did Marais Erasmus as technology overruled what looked like a plumb leg-before call to the naked eye. Elgar’s wicket could have lifted India’s spirits a great deal, but they will have to leave the contentious episode behind and focus on getting rid of the well-set Petersen and Elgar.
Ok Ok.. This is getting tense and hot out there.. Elgar trapped LBW… Erasmus gave it OUT!! but hawkeye shows its going over.. Kohli kicks the turf in disgust.. Ashwin goes near stump mic and says don’t do that supersport… Kohli goes near the stump pic & tells something #IndvSA pic.twitter.com/RWKRd37Lg4
