Uncapped Alana King has been picked ahead of fellow leg-spinner Amanda-Jade Wellington in Australia's Ashes squad that will take on England in a multi-format series, starting on January 20 with the first T20I at the Adelaide Oval. King put up a good show for current champions Perth Scorchers in the WBBL, picking up 16 scalps at 18.25. However, Wellington, too, made a splash in the WBBL, bagging 23 wickets at 16.26 which included a five-wicket haul in the Eliminator. Wellington has also won 21 caps for her country.
