Mitchell Starc was not one bit impressed with Alex Carey dropping Haseeb Hameed’s thick edge and seems to have taken matters into his own hands as he castled the opener neck and crop in his next over. Haseeb didn’t do himself any favours by not prodding forward, rooted to the crease as of his glued with adhesive, as the straight ball crashed through the gap between his bat and pad. Australia have drawn first blood early on day three and England are onto the backfoot straightaway.
