Having secured a slender lead of 82, Australia blew away England’s top-order with Mitchell Starc being the wrecker-in-chief. The tourists have lost Zac Crawley and David Malan off consecutive balls and appear to be in deep trouble. While Crawley got a thick outside edge that flew straight to Alex Carey behind the sticks, Malan was trapped leg-before with a sharp nip backer first up. Starc has had a spring in his step in the ongoing Ashes and his double whammy goes to show why he’s one of the most lethal pacers going around.
