Sydney Sixers have signed Pakistan leggie Shadab Khan for the remainder of the 2021-22 Big Bash League season. Shadab’s signing will be a boost to the defending champions, who despite being placed second in the standings, have been plagued by a host of injuries. In the spin department, the Sixers have lost off-spinner Ben Manenti for the season after he suffered a neck injury while left-arm spinner Steve O’Keefe has been ruled out with a calf strain. The Sixers also lost Tom Curran to a back injury while Chris Jordan’s five-match stint has come to an end.
