Jofra Archer is set to remain on the sidelines for a significant spell of time after undergoing a second surgery on the troublesome right elbow, the ECB confirmed on Tuesday, December 21. Archer already went under the knife in May this year and was subsequently ruled out of the home summer including the high-profile Test series against India. He was also unavailable for the T20 World Cup and didn’t recover in time to feature in the ongoing Ashes series. The ECB, in a statement, confirmed that Archer underwent his second operation on December 11 in London.
