Mitchell Starc bowled a brilliant spell, got rid of Ollie Pope and should have had Buttler too if not for the confusion between Alex Carey and David Warner. Nathan Lyon has extracted purchase from the track and went on to bag the prized scalp of Stokes. The writing is on the wall for England.
