Sussex have signed Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan for the 2022 summer while releasing former captain Ben Brown on request. Rizwan will be available from early April and feature in the County Championship and T20 Blast. Brown, who scored 976 runs in 12 games last season, was appointed the club captain in 2017 but was asked to step down from his role in the middle of the most recent season. He still had two years left in his contract.
