In what comes as a massive blow to India, Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the three-Test away series against South Africa because of a left hamstring injury. Priyank Panchal, who led India A during the recently-concluded three-match series, has replaced the opener. The BCCI made no mention of the vice-captain for the series in Rohit’s absence. According to Cricbuzz, Rohit picked up the injury while training at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.
