As fast bowlers were getting the odd one to nibble around and even kick viciously on occasions, David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne relished the floaty spin of Jack Leach a lot. There was intent shown right from the word go as Leach was taken for 17 in his second over, courtesy of a couple of sixes down the ground by Warner. Leach’s introduction into the attack has released the pressure completely, with the pair taking a heavy toll and blasting his 3 overs for 31. Labuschagne has gone past fifty while Warner has headed into Lunch just one away, and the deficit is just 34 now.
