India’s Test captain Virat Kohli was back in the fold as the Test squad trained indoors at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai today. The unseasonal rains washed out India and New Zealand’s practice sessions on Wednesday, December 1, ahead of the second and final Test at the Wankhede, which meant the players were forced to train indoors. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) requested the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to spruce up the indoor training facility at Bandra-Kurla Complex.
