The visitors, after South Africa A posted 297 in their first innings, went to stumps on 198 for 5, trailing by another 99. Earlier in the day, the hosts added 64 runs to their overnight score of 233/7 before folding, where Jansen hit his fifth first-class fifty in a vital 48-run stand with last-man Glenton Stuurman, who chipped in with a crucial 27.
