The unseasonal rains washed out India and New Zealand’s practice sessions on Wednesday, December 1, ahead of the second and final Test at the Wankhede. With showers forecast in the next 24 hours, the teams will be heading into the game, starting on Friday, December 3, without a proper net session in the lead-up, Cricbuzz reported. The Indian team management has asked the hosts Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to facilitate indoor practice, and the request has been complied with as per Cricbuzz.
While Wednesday’s rain did hamper the pitch preparation at Wankhede, the wicket is expected to initially help the fast bowlers, with spinners coming into play from the second day. #IndiaVsNewZealand https://t.co/KxYXMSyV8z
