Ben Stokes has declared himself fit and is raring to go ahead of the first Ashes Test. The key all-rounder was not named in the original England squad for the forthcoming series having taken an indefinite break to prioritize his mental health and nurse a fractured finger, but was subsequently added to the fold in October. A post on Stokes’ official Instagram account on Wednesday showed him training in the nets. The opening Ashes Test begins at the Gabba on December 8.
