Will Young had to walk back 11 short of a well-deserved hundred as R Ashwin’s grubber took his outside edge, which was superbly snaffled by KS Bharat, the stand-in keeper for Wriddhiman Saha. Although the umpire didn’t seem to have noticed the nick, both Bharat and Ashwin were confident and got the verdict changed with a review. India have finally broken the century stand after being made to toil hard since day two’s afternoon session. The onus is now on Kane Williamson and well-set Tom Latham to consolidate New Zealand’s position.
