Tim Southee has been at his creative best on day two of the Kanpur Test. The experienced pacer, who seemed to be down with a bit of niggle yesterday, has employed the away-swinger with a couple of his variations like the three-quarter seam ball to bring New Zealand right back in the game. Axar Patel is the latest to fall to the bowling skill and smarts as he edged one behind, giving Southee his second five-wicket haul in India. Southee also accounted for centurion Iyer, who drove loosely after racking up three figures.
🖐 for Tim Southee! It’s 4 this morning & his 13th FIVE wicket bag as he gets one to seam away from Patel & take the outside edge for Blundell’s 4th catch. India 313-8. Live scoring | https://t.co/yGSlW6a2d5 #INDvNZ pic.twitter.com/1KA59InzVI
