Ajaz Patel resorted to negative bowling as New Zealand waited for the second new ball, but Shreyas Iyer didn’t hold back his shots anyway as his partnership with Ravindra Jadeja approached 100. The umpires even got together on a few occasions and had a chat with Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson regarding the approach and its execution. New Zealand have taken the second new ball but the runs are flowing nonetheless, with Jadeja eyeing the half-century landmark.
