Cricket pundits Mike Atherton and Nasser Hussain reviewed the pitch ahead of the T20 World Cup 2021 grand finale between Australia and New Zealand. The playing surface seemed a bit dry to the veterans, with the dryness being put down to relentless playing action by the curator. Naseer felt it was a decent strip, notwithstanding the exploitation, and the ball might come onto the bat nicely under lights. He added that the odds look to be in favour of Australia given their marginally better batting line-up.
