Bangladesh have endured a nightmarish campaign in the T20 World Cup, having lost five out of their five games in the Super 12 stage. Their batting unit has fared poorly, leaving the bowlers with scarce few to work with each time they took the field. Bangladesh’s 84 all out against South Africa was the third time they got bowled out in double figures this year. They have averaged 129 runs in the Super 12s phase. There is a pressing need for the batters to step up their game and contribute to the team’s cause.
