Matthew Cross was run out at the non-striker’s end, with Imad Wasim the bowler tipping the ball onto the stumps in the T20 World Cup 2021 contest between Pakistan and Scotland. The left-arm did well to get a hand on the ball as the shot was fiercely struck, but Cross deserves a wee bit of blame for loitering outside his crease. It was a wicket against the run of play, which then triggered a mini-collapse as Scotland went on to lose three more. They are in a precarious position at 97/5 after 17 overs chasing 190.
