Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc sustained a leg injury in the training session held at the ICC Academy on Tuesday night in Dubai, UAE. The left-arm featured in Australia’s campaign opener versus South Africa but was not at his menacing best. Starc had taken a nearly six-month break from cricket and hardly had any quality practice under his belt before arriving in Dubai for the big event. Australia would hope it is nothing serious as the unavailability of Starc would hamper their potency as a side.
