About 10 parties turned up for the Indian Premier League team auction at Taj Dubai, according to a report in Cricbuzz. Manchester Unitedβs owners were among those who placed bids to own an IPL franchise at one of the six cities β Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Cuttack, Dharamsala, Guwahati and Indore. The Adani Group and the RPSG Group, owned by Sanjiv Goenka, and Kotak Group are among others who have submitted bids as the cash-rich league awaits the introduction of a couple of new teams to the fold.
