England got their T20 World Cup campaign off the ground in emphatic fashion by humbling the defending champions West Indies by six wickets. Akeal Hosein, registering his maiden WC appearance, stood out, with his bowling and athletic fielding. Ravi Rampaul's clever slower-ball to get ride of Jason Roy was another silver lining for West Indies in their dark cloud of a day. The bowlers didn't have much to play with as the Caribbean batting unit crumpled for 55, leaving the result a foregone conclusion.
