Adil Rashid had not yet come on to bowl when the West Indies were already six wickets down in their T20 World Cup opener against England. Rashid continued to exact England’s dominance when he was eventually introduced by Morgan, however, taking three quick wickets for just one run to leave the Windies reeling at 50/9 after thirteen overs. It was a hugely disappointing show with the bat from the defending champions, but credit must be given to England’s ruthlessness with the ball.
