Presenter Dany Morrison had talked about the pitch’s green hue in the lead-up to the toss, and Oman pacer Bilal Khan made hay by prising out Liton Das early in Bangladesh’s innings. It was a richly deserved wicket for Bilal, who got the new ball moving appreciably in the air. The shooter curved back in late to clip the front pad before making contact with the bat. The umpire turned down the appeal but Oman’s review bore fruit as Das was compelled to make the long walk back.
