Martin Guptill’s blinder, which dismissed David Warner first ball of the innings, wasn’t enough to push the Black Caps to victory over Australia in their Twenty20 World Cup warm-up match in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. Defending 159-7 at Tolerance Oval, New Zealand kicked off in incredible fashion in the field. Warner, coming off scores of 0 and 2 in his two IPL appearances last month, charged down the track to Tim Southee only to get an outside edge as Guptill flew high and wide to his left at first slip and pulled off a catch for the ages.
