Claiming to be inspired by the raucous cheering of the fans, the Indian cricket team’s jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup was unveiled on Wednesday, days before the country kick-starts its campaign with a blockbuster clash against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai. The tournament will be held from October 17 to November 14 in the UAE and Oman. The new shirt, called the ‘Billion Cheers Jersey’, has drawn inspiration from the vociferous fans and was unveiled by MPL Sports, the official kit sponsor of the Indian men’s, women’s and U-19 teams.
