Venkatesh Iyer and Shubman Gill have measured up to the expectations, giving their franchise a solid headstart as they set off in pursuit of a huge target. Some rollicking strokeplay meant KKR were 47 for nought after five overs, although a golden opportunity to see the back of Venkatesh Iyer was spilt by MS Dhoni fairly early in the defence. It certainly looks like the dropped chance is going to cost the yellow army dearly.
