The Delhi Capitals made an excellent start to their defence of 172 against the Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, with Anrich Nortje taking the wicket of Faf du Plessis in the first over. The delivery was an excellent one, just jagging in enough to knock over du Plessis through the gate. It left CSK reeling early on at 3/1, and brought Robin Uthappa to the crease. He and the in-form Ruturaj Gaikwad were able to recover slightly, guiding their side to 33/1 after the fourth over.
