England have named their squad for the Ashes tour down under this winter, with the seventeen man list looking rather familiar. All of the players have already been capped in Tests, with Joe Root supposedly having the pick of England’s strongest available group. Ben Stokes is a confirmed absence, with notable inclusions being that of Dom Bess, seemingly the replacement for the recently retired Moeen Ali, and Craig Overton over Saqib Mahmood after a couple of decent performances over the summer.
