Shimron Hetmyer’s power-hitting helped the Delhi Capitals towards a defendable total as they took on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL on Friday. The Capitals had started strongly, with Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan putting on 88 for the first wicket, but faltered in the middle overs. Hetmyer’s knock of 29 off 22 balls gave the Capitals something competitive to work with, and RCB began their chase poorly, losing Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal with just six runs on the board.
🏏 Shimron Hetmyer isn’t messing around!
A muscular maximum from the West Indian and Harshal Patel has disappeared over the rope 💪
