Morne Morkel, one of South Africa’s most prolific pace bowlers, turns 37 today, and a perfect way to mark the occasion is watching back this seed to dismiss Sir Andrew Strauss at Lord’s. Morkel had a wonderful balance of height, pace and control when at his best, and featured in 86 Test matches for his country. In whites, he took 309 wickets at an average of 27.66, including eight five-wicket hauls. In limited overs cricket Morkel played 117 One Day Internationals and 44 Twenty20 Internationals.
