Shadab Khan has been an asset for Pakistan ever since he stepped onto the field wearing the green star on his chest. The leg-spinner spun a web around South Africa in the 2019 World Cup, picking three wickets at the cost of 50 runs only. For starters, he coaxed Quinton de Kock into a toe-ended hoick down the leg-side. Aiden Markram was then castled all ends up by a brute of a top-spinner, which skidded on menacingly to crash into the stumps. Rassie van der Dussen too paid the price of hitting across the line as Khan robbed the Proteas of all the momentum they had.
